Sample Packs & Synth Patches
DC Beats provides high-quality multi-format sample packs for use in your favorite sampler, loop sequencer or drum machine. Using standard .wav format and various program formats, DC Beats sample packs are always punchy, animated and unique.
Using high-end synths and other gear as source material and high-end sampling equipment and converters means your samples are pristine and accurate.* With seamless loops and crystal clear audio, you'll think you're hearing the real thing!
The first lineup of sample packs will include the following:
- Karma Attacks!: A set of over 30 custom drumkits created using the Karma/Triton synthesis engine and effects on one CD or download. (MPC 1000 pgm format, Akai akp format, ShortCircuit format)
- Karmal Pleasures: Pristine multisamples of 75 custom Karma/Triton patches, including pads, leads, new twists on real world instruments and a few favorite tweaked presets sprinkled throughout. (Akai akp format, ShortCircuit format)
- MossWind: Over 50 complex evolving pads, smooth musical leads, superrealstic physical modelled instruments and more programmed on the renowned Korg MOSS board. (Akai akp format, ShortCircuit format)
- MS2K5: Over 100 custom pads, leads, arps, morphing sounds and more from Korg's awesome MS2000 synth engine. (Akai akp format, ShortCircuit format)
- T + A = Textures + Ambience: A set of unique ambient loops and noisebeds to use as the sonic foundation for your soundtrack, video game or other musical productions. (Akai akp format, ShortCircuit format)
All of these patches are also available as the raw synthesizer data for each given set of synthesizers. The patch data is available at significantly reduced rates, be sure to call for further information. Prices will be determined at the time of availability. It is believed that packs will range from $20 for drum-type packs and mini-packs (trimmed down sample packs with fewer patches to choose from) to $40 or $50 for larger packs. Demos will be available on this site to hear what each pack can do.
*Unless otherwise noted, all samples provided by DC Beats are in 16-bit, 44.1kHz PCM format. If you need higher resolution samples for your project, please let us know and we can whip up a batch for you.
